Open Gardens volunteers

Do you enjoy visiting gardens and meeting people? If so, the British Red Cross would love to hear from you. We are appealing to all garden lovers to come forward and help raise funds so we can continue to care for vulnerable people in need.Open gardens flower image
Our highly successful Open Gardens programme is in need of volunteer garden co-ordinators, and additional volunteers to help on the day in all local areas.

Volunteer team

With the full support of the local Red Cross, garden co-ordinators are part of a team, overseeing some of the most beautiful gardens in your area.

The role of garden helpers will be to assist garden owners with a variety of tasks, including collecting donations at the gate, refreshments and car parking duties.
